Choir Camp for Kids age 4-12

Hillcrest United Presbyterian Church is holding a Choir Camp for Kids, ages 4 through 12,  during the week of July 10-14 at the church on 1622 James Street. Sessions will run in the  mornings from 9:00 a.m. to noon.

Led by esteemed chior directorand vocalist Lynn DeFalco, the children will learn spirited and uplfting songs with a performance for family and friends on Friday at noon. Participants may also choose to sing  in the following Sunday’s service at Hillcrest and experience choir in a real church setting.

A highlight of camp week will be visits from trained and experienced musicians who will demonstrate their instruments and allow the children to discover how they can be used to accompany various songs.  Rounding out the daily sessions will be experiential Bible lessons, games, activities, and snack time.

The camp program is made possible by a  grant from Pittsburgh Presbytery and by volunteer staff support from Monroeville’s Bethel Presbyterian Church. As a result, no fee is required.

Call the church at 412 824-5600 to submit your child’s name and age and give your information for mailings and emails on registration. If necessary, leave a message with your name and number, and you will receive a return call as soon as possible.
