Join us this Sunday for a special Christ the King event featuring the Award Winning Shadyside Brass Quintet
The Shadyside Brass Quintet will be enhancing the “Christ the King” Service at Hillcrest UP Church on November 23rd at 11:00 AM. They will accompany all of the hymns and the choral anthem, as well as providing special music for the Prelude, Offertory and Postlude.
For over a decade Shadyside Brass has been sharing their unique approach to the brass quintet with audiences in the Pittsburgh area. The quintet plays a broad range of music, often using arrangements made by members of the group. The group has a special affinity for arrangements of acapella vocal music and also loves to cover pop and rock classics! Classical, Broadway and jazz favorites round out the repertoire.
